2005 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 997 with powerful 3.6L DOHC SMPI ALUMINUM HORIZONTALLY-OPPOSED engine and driven only 83871 miles! This 2005 Porsche 997 is the perfect enthusiast build, featuring a 6 Speed manual transmission and a 4.0L engine that engages the driver through the hydraulic steering and analog platform of this coveted generation of 911. 

It is finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Black interior. It came factory-equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, an optional sport steering wheel, heated power seats, auto-dimming mirrors, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, and Sport Chrono Package Plus. The original 3.6-liter flat-six was removed and rebuilt to 4.0-liter Stage 2 “Track Performer” specifications by renowned builder Jake Raby at Flat 6 Innovations. It features custom forged pistons, LN Engineering Nickies big bore cylinder, PC2 coated bearings, forged H-beam connecting rods, Stage 2 cylinder heads, and a patented IMS bearing solution. This engine build today alone would cost over $45k and is an 18 month waitlist. 

This 997 has also been modified with an aftermarket decklid spoiler (two rear spoilers included with the car along with a GT3 style rear bumper or buyer can easily go back to stock) , a GT3 front lip, a Pioneer head unit, and 19” Victor Equipment wheels. Showing approximately 84k miles on the odometer with 8k miles on the rebuilt 4.0-liter engine, this Carrera is now looking for its next caretaker. 

The front bumper was previously replaced following minor front-end  damage as shown in the CARFAX report from 2017.

The Black standard leather interior features an Alcantara headliner, optional heated power-adjustable seats, a three-spoke leather sport steering wheel, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, and custom coco floor mats. The driver is also provided with a remote central locking system, a multifunction trip computer, automatic climate control, cruise control, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and a Pioneer head unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
